I accidently jumped my L3301 off but put battery cables on backwards, I changed one of the 50a [slow burn] fuses out and it cranks now, i also changed a smaller one out that is in the smaller box where your left knee cap would be, however my odometer reading doesn't come on, i'm not sure if the regen system is working, I would appreciate any help a old guy could get.

It’s quite possible the ECU board has sustained some damage. And its replacement would at some point involve a dealer using the needed diag software to complete the repair.
sorry for your troubles.

Brother, unfortunately i would think all you could do is check your fuses and hope others are still blown. Otherwise computer damage would be likely.

This is all too common in our automotive world. Often does kill ecms and such.

Sometimes you get lucky and will find a fuse bar smoked deep inside the fuse/relay boxes (we often find this on toyota/lexus models) And i wouldn't even know if tractor fuse boxes have those or not. Something like this

Hopefully some of the ole hands will soon chime in and offer the correct advice....... @North Idaho Wolfman

@edward Gazzier - - We've all done foolish stuff. Welcome to the club.

If we say we've never made a mistake, we're either lying or we don't anything for ourselves...... ;)

As simple as it seems, I posted a thread about best practices for replacing batteries.

Some guys have fried their ECM/ECU's on their tractors replacing batteries or jump starting them. Heard similar horror stories about cars and trucks.

I've replaced countless batteries, but this new "technology" stuff has me spooked.

man I feel for you, downloaded the WSM and there's THREE 'computers' and 2-3 CANbus peripherals so it could get expensive.
update?
1st, does the engine start and run fine, as before ?
2nd, does the dash work OK, other than the odometer ?
3rd, anything else NOT working ?

always best to put on paper.....
