Tractor loses power when driving up slight inclines (think 1 foot drop over 20 in length) in normal operation; simply comes to a stop and engage 4 wheel drive to move. It cannot pull a 5 foot rock rake, let alone a 5 foot mower unless it is in 4 wheel drive. I’ve heard that it may be the clutch, but that answer came with an lack of confidence.
I’ve done the following;
New fuel filter and water separator screen.
Filled/topped off hydrolock fluid.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,

hydrolock? I hope that was a typo - you mean Hydraulic?

And this is a HST model not the synchronized shuttle version?

IF you have HST - you in high range when this happens?

If it moves in 4wd but not 2wd , sounds like something broke in the rear end. Bad clutch would not pull in 4wd versus 2wd.

if this is the rear end, could broken #070 explain it ? never seen 'keys' in a diff,so curious as to why they're there. If it drives fine in 4wd(pull a load) doubt it's the clutch.

There are quite a few parts that will make the rear no have power, could be everything from broken axle up to the coupling to the differential and everything in between!
