Well, if I would read all the replies that would help.
is the UTD and SUTD2 not Kabota fluid. That stuff seems expensive. If it is my best option I will gladly use it.

Do you want some very pricey repairs from running junk fluid in it?

While The UDT does not need to be Kubota branded you better at least get a good branded UDT.
SUDT2 is only a Kubota fluid.

Kubota SUDT2 is a superior lower viscosity full synthetic formulation of UTTO with improved low temperature pumpability/filterability and increased tolerance for water contantamination.

Kubota UDT is a conventional formulation of UTTO thats virtually indistinguishable from other premium brand products on the market.

The virtues of SUDT2 are most significant in machines with HST transmissions and/or operating in cold ambient temperatures. Those properties are of marginal benefit in gear drive machines.

In your gear drive tractor a premium UTTO from any reputable manufacturer will provide satisfactory performance on par with Kubota UDT. Do not purchase the so called "yellow bucket" 303 economy fluids. They are very low grade products.

An good quality fluid or filter will cost as much or more than oem fluids and filters. You can either pay for good fluids and filters or you can pay of repairs.
