Hydraulic fluid over-filled

After installing a rebuilt steering cylinder on my L4310 HST 4x4 i see that I over-filled the hydraulic fluid. I panicked when the cylinder failed and was spewing fluid out so added fluid. I could not see the clean fluid in the sight glass but using a pipe cleaner I see it is over-filled by 1-2”. Is this problem? Do I need to drain excess or just keep on rolling?

Drain it or use a suction method to get it closer to the correct level.

Yes like Russell said, drain it down to level, overfilled is bad!
