i purchase a B8200 hst 4x4 with front loader BF300 going to buy some hose for the bf300 loader getting dry rotted wondering the size 3/8 or 1/2 my neighbor has a crimper and i will need the ends. you go on line every one wants a # number for the hyd, hose looking for the four hyd. hose from the lever [controls bucket] to the fitting thinking hard pipe all so there are two more lines at control lever and they go to a hook up buy your right foot their like 5 foot long all ways in the way and getting caught when you raise or lower bucket. if i had hose size or part numbers save me some time.

Hi,

I cannot answer your size question but can you not reuse the old ends? If your neighbour has a crimper / press it is likely that he has the ferrules too. If you cut those open (carefully, not to damage the fitting inside the hose) that is the only new part you will need, plus the hose, of course.

Hose ends are not reused on hydraulic assemblies.

On my b7200 that was about the same size, the bucket curl used 1/4" hoses and the loader lift used 3/8". Easiest to take old hoses to a hydraulic shop and have new ones made up.

3/8" (#6) hose. I would suggest R16 as it is much more flexible than R2. This is good hose and competitevely priced.
