I just brought home a GR2120. While familiarizing myself with operation. I found no matter how hard I pulled on the cruise nob it won't budge. Is it something I'm doing? Or where and what do I need to look for to diagnose the problem.

push the pedal down, then pull the knob up and hold it while releasing the pedal. Pedal should stay put until you either mash down on it again OR you press the brake pedal. If the park brake is engaged the cruise won't work at all.
I took a couple of pictures. I think I see the problem. I put my phone under it and took this picture. The problem was the knob would not budge. Looking at the photo the cable looks to be corroded. I imagine that's why I cant get the knob to move. With the deck in place hard to get to. I can put a floor jack under the front end and get a squirt or two of liquid wrench and get the cable to break loose.
Once I get stuff on it and let it soak Ill let you know if that solves the problem.
