G1900 3 point hitch seekers Public Service Announcement

Hello all, I got my 1992 G1900 in April of 2020. I did some needed repairs and use it as a back up for my ZTR. I have been on the lookout for the elusive Kubota PN 2590 3-point hitch. Early this week I entered the part number and found a link to one on eBay. It showed no picture, but the feedback had another person saying they got one and it was the right hitch. I contacted the seller, and they sent me the pics and it included the hydro cylinder and hardware and everything. I paid like 516.00 plus tax and shipping so right at 600.00
It arrived today and it is indeed the Kubota factory part. They have at least one left if anyone is looking for this hard to locate piece. The seller is a business called Vintage Parts out of Beaver Dam Wi.
I will provide a link if anyone is interested. The buy it now price is 543 but after I looked at it they sent me the 516.00 offer so maybe you can try to get em lower. I was going to buy it for 543.00 as I never thought I would ever find a used on much less a brand new one.

That is correct. Came in a original Kubota box. My guess is Vintage Parts gets close outs on old stuff. I have all the parts laid out in shop I will snap some pics before I get to installing and post them back here.

As a side note they even have the PTO gearbox that goes off the front to drive a rear attachment. They want like 900.00 for it.......I'm Thinking

Only issue I have is to install fitting into the hydraulic outlet there is no fitting in the spot the diagram shows.
The instructions say to install per some reference number but I cannot seem to find those directions online. I wonder if the spot needs to be drilled and tapped? That is the only way I see a fitting going into the valve on the illustrated side?
Any tips appreciated

This was on the G1900 when I got it. If anyone is interested let me know. I don’t think it will fit with the new hitch

There may be some adapter block that mounts onto the control valve but it is expensive!

I am not sure what your problem is so please elaborate more on what the issue is. I assume you have a fitting but please tell what part number it is. And try to tell us where the fitting is supposed to go in your valve picture.

Item number 3 is the adapter block that you may need. You may be able to machine the block you have but I would assume there are some internal passages that you may have to machine also. That might be difficult to do.

I appreciate your reply Russell. In my parts diagram it is the hose and fitting 44 and 45 that go into the valve. But my valve only seems to have one outlet and it goes to the lift cylinder for the deck.
I am afraid you are correct and I am missing a adapter or something but I cannot believe Kubota would not say clearly somewhere that pn 2590 requires pn **** to work.
I hope someone with a G1900 with the hitch chimes in otherwise I will have to figure out what I need and be try to locate it. I may email Kubota snd see if they can clarify.
The 2nd step of the instructions refers to hooking up to the outlet but I cannot find anything with the number referenced.

Looks to me you have the outlet block. Does that hose and fitting(#45) go in the back side of the block? Paper instructions seem to say that with the large arrow.

This is two shots of the inner side thst the instructions show to install the supplied fitting. Where it looks like it goes there is no fitting just a spot where one may have been intended to go.

I might have an answer for you, so consider what I am explaining and then consider if it might apply to your machine.

When I purchased my BX22 TLB in 2004(?) Kubota offered two different loader valves. The dealer had to specify exactly which loader valve the customer required. One loader valve would operate the loader only, and the other loader valve was capable of operating the optional snowblower. If you didn't have the correct valve and purchased a snow blower, it wouldn't work on your tractor. When I purchased my BX22 the only reason that I was aware of this was because of all the people on TBN (Tractor By Net) who learned this the expensive way. The snowblower required a four-way loader valve.

Guess I am outta luck. I contacted Kubota CS and they told me they cannot answer the question. Told me buy a service manual maybe that would help.
Sure changed my view of Kubota.

From what I can find, there was a serial break on the outlet blocks and valve assembly. 66101-36203 seems to be the outlet block you need. 66101-36316 is the valve. Outlet is discontinued, valve still available from Messicks. I’m guessing it has 2 spools, one for deck and one for 3 point. I can’t find a good picture showing the difference.

If you didn’t need independent control, could you T off that 45* line to operate the 3point cylinder? Maybe add some ball valves to select which cylinder receives pressure? I honestly don’t know.

Appreciate all the replies guys. Posting this in case someone else goes down this road with a G series in the future. Annette at Kubota and Julie at Coleman Equipment was of no assistance and did not even try to look up anything. Nate at Messicks however confirmed that you need PN G2593 to go along with the 3 point hitch G2590 to tie in the hydraulics. G2593 outlet diverter seems harder to find than the 3 point was so I have just put Tractor back together with Hitch installed. I plan to look for the diverter valve for a while and if nothing turns up I will either Tee into line to deck lift cylinder or install isolation valves to each off of that line.
I realize this is a ancient machine and there is no money to be made off of me but I am shocked that Kubota was not willing to at least tell me how it was was engineered to work from OEM.
Again if you need Kubota or other parts I recommend Messick’s highly.
