i'm new to tractors and bought a 2003 kabota B2910 with a LA 402 front loader. the bucket hydraulic arm was leaking so I pulled it and had it repaired. When I put it back on, the bucket and the boom will not stay up. I checked the dip stick near the seat and found that the transmission fluid was low. Added fluid but still no luck. Is there a separate reservoir for hydraulics? thanks

No, the dipstick by the seat is the transmission and hydraulic oil. After repair, you do need to cycle them a couple times to work the air out.

Work it to full lift height to fully lowered about 10 times... if it still comes down take it back to cylinder shop. They either cut the packing, or put wrong packing in it.

Is both the roll and the lift bleeding down?
If so then you have a problem with the valve.
If it's only one then you might still have an issue with the valve, swap the roll for the lift and see if the problem follows the swap or stays in the same place.

I hope when you added "transmission fluid, that you used Hydraulic fluid.

And Please it's a KUBOTA not a kabota! ;)
