Always wondered about the bucket "self-leveling" on this machine. While reading up on it in the owners manual (imagine that), it said it was important not to "interfere" with the self leveling action.

Got me to thinking what that meant, and as I looked more and examined the machine, found the bucket did not seem to self-level at all, as I raised it, it continued to "tilt" further backwards as if curling more.

Found several issues with the linkage and after repairing those and doing a test run, was amazed to see it actually seemed to work. Kinda, sorta, I guess, and found out what they meant by not interfering with the action. It's a bit eerie feeling the lever move under your hand and trying not to react.

That aside, wondering if it works correctly. It seems to "self-level" in a series of step and not in a continuous manner. That is, as you raise it a few inches, it activates then stops and repeats that as you continue to raise the bucket.

Is that normal?

Over all, I guess that's a great feature even like that.
