I have an L5460 HSTC. It has a little over 2250 hours on it. I have trouble starting it. It will occasionally start when it’s cold. Then it is impossible to start it when it’s warm. I have replaced the glow plugs, glow plug relay, verified it’s getting fuel, have no error codes, no blow fuses, and put a jump box on to ensure proper battery. Went in the test mode. The sensors are acting right. At this point i am thinking it is a sensor but which one. Wouldnt there be an error code. The engine does not overheat either.

A friend has a similar issue with his backhoe. I suggested that he find a can of cold spray to selectively spray different components to cool them and see which one is the culprit. I was thinking about relays and switches more than sensors, but if sensors are accessible it'd be worth trying.
