Coolant Search

Hello Orange folk, I used the search function to look for my tractor: L1802DT-M, tying to find information about the best coolant to use and how much to use? 1985 model I suspect. If anyone knows these details, your time to reply is appreciated.

I get answers all over the place from 6 quarts to 7 quarts.

I would drain and then refill and start and run at 5+ quarts, add as you go - running it low for a bit will not hurt, but you would see quickly as the fluid moves through the system and bleeds off the air that you need to add more.

As for the type - Ethylene Glycol-based phosphate
