There is a petcock at the bottom of the radiator if I am not mistaken - but it is a beeeach to get to!

There is a bolt for the lower block too and a bolt to burp the air once filling.

There is a reason why folks choose to yank off the lower hose....... It's a pain in the azz when the petcock breaks. :)

Lol  What reasons if i may ask?
I have a BX, and that little flimsy (plastic?) drain petcock looks like it's asking for a reason to break.

I use the bottom hose of the radiator. I'm not looking for trouble.

Long time ago I learned that discretion is the better part of valor.... ;)

Just today I probably replaced a good (but cheap) part on my pellet stove because I got impetuous taking old part out.
