It will take a bit longer for me mostly due to the covid lumber price hikes. I pretty much didn't do anything on it for 10 months at one point. Momma is on my butt to get it finished now lol.
Yea that will save a ton of money. If I had somewhere out of the weather to dry them I could have done the same. I just cut them down and burn them in the campfire. Probably have 40 or so to eventually get out of my food plots. I cut and split 4-5 a year for campfire wood.
I see it’s been a while since this was talked about, but I’m curious how things turned out with the camp setup. Did the BX hold up for all you were doing? I’m thinking about a similar project and wondering if your setup handled the clearing and hauling jobs over time. Any surprises or things you’d do differently now?
