New to Orange. New Holland class2 user for the past +20 years downsizing to the Kubota BX2380. Just ordered the tractor. The NH 3pt valve allowed setting it at anywhere within the range of movement and the implement maintained that position. Ignorant and a bit confused by the "positional" 3 pt on the BX. Forgot to ask the dealer. Already buried him with a list of questions that he patiently answered. From a few YTube videos covering the "x number of things I don't like" some have noted the "positional" 3 pt. Limited to either just 3 positions. Up, float, down?

The 3 point will hold the position you leave it at; what it does not do is provide you with a repeatable height setting. On a BX you set the height by measure (if parked) or by sight while moving... I just eyeball it.

" Up, float, down? "

More like Up, Hold, Down. No position control to preset the "Hold" height. Takes some practice but you get used to it for most work. Grading with something like a box blade can be tricky.
