I would like to share with others. My BX1880 developed a flowing leak above the transaxle. After searching and not finding the source I removed : ROP, seat ,fender assembly and was lucky enough to not have to remove the diesel tank which fits like a glove on top of the transaxle. a 5/16" or equal rubber low pressure hydraulic return line had been chewed on by a mouse and this line can be pulled out . It runs from front of transaxle towards the PTO area under the diesel tank. I pulled it out with a string attached and pulled a new one back in. This saved a lot of time. This tractor is compact and not the easiest to work on, at least in this area of tractor. Hope this can save somebody some time on a repair. I realize there are many rodent issues with equipment and this is just another encounter.
