On my LA534 FEL the pin that fastens the bucket level indicator to the bucket has come out. It is a hex shaped rod about 1” long (no picture in the manual).
How is it fastened to the bucket? I don’t think there were threads because there is no room for a nut and there are no threads in the hole or on the end of the hex piece. I’m guessing it was friction fit but would like to know for sure. My plan is to ‘glue’ it back in place using POR-15 Patch. Do you think this would be okay?

Thanks,

Just to clarify, the exploded seems to indicate parts 140 &150 are secured to part 160. On my LA534 there isn’t a part 160. No holes where it might have broken off. Part 140 attaches to a hole in the vertical structural rib on the back of the bucket. I’m not sure there would be room for the nut, 150, because the pivot point for the bucket is just below the hole for 140. The pivot pin has a bolt through it that might interfere with a part 150.
Or am I not seeing something?

This is how the indicator bar attaches to the B1626 bucket on a LA534. The silver color bracket is #160 in the diagram.
