Hello again back looking for advice on the same tractor as before .It jumped timing and destroyed my crank gear . Kubota has discontinued that gear and I have had no luck finding one . I can find any of the other gears but not that one. I had 2 different machine shops say they could make it for me but no luck there either. So now I am thinking about just getting a used or rebuilt motor but I see them in all sorts of machines . My motor is a 4cyl V1200 A is there anything I need to look for to insure it will fit my tractor. Thanks for any advice .

Almost all of the V1200 are the same, you might just need to swap external parts off of your V1200 to get it to match up.
