Lost the bolt that screws into the welded nut on the inside of the ROPS that you use to hold the foldable arm in to up position (or keep it from wiggling when it's in to down position. The Kubota parts list only shows a part number (TA240-48752 Bolt Kit) but no bolt specs and my dealer could only see the same parts list that I found and he didn't know the bolt size either. Measured the nut and clearance seemed 5/8" so first tried 5/8 coarse thread but it wouldn't thread. Figured maybe metric so next tried a 16m standard thread but that wouldn't thread either. Next removed the middle bolt than has a locking nut on it but that was a much smaller diameter. Ran across another forum that said to try a 5/8 UNF. I'm sure I'm not the first person to have this problem. Anyone have a solution?

The bolts on my B7500 measure 5/8-18 x 3-3/4" (5/8 fine thread) but the Kubota OEM bolts have a safety cable and a spring clip to keep them from getting lost which a regular bolt wouldn't have.

Thanks, the cable had already been repaired more than once; wasn't a very sturdy system. The treads on the welded nut seemed coarser than a fine tread but the other, smaller bolts used on the ROPS system do have fine treads so I'll give that a try.

You will definitely want to use at least grade 5 bolts there. I think most of the fine thread bolts in places like TSC are grade 8 anyway so they should be OK.

The 5/8” fine thread bolts worked perfectly on my MX5400. The OEM bolt might actually be 16mm-1.5mm pitch which is awfully close to 5/8” NF so the 5/8” work great and are less expensive.
