B7200 4WD Weak/Bleeding Off 3point hitch

Trouble withB7200 4WD
Over past several months 3 point hitch getting weaker and not going as high. 3 point will also not stay up and leaks down, Fluid good and screen clean……tractor 35 years old….pump going out and bypassing internally ? Suggestions…?

Bad pump wont cause leakdown. First thing to check is oring in lift piston. Raise lift amd fully close lowerimg speed valve. If ot leaks down with the vslve closed the o-ring is leaking.

Like @TheOldHokie said most common problem is the seals on the 3 point cylinder. Simple job to replace them
