Hey I've read that the b7100's front pto kit is tough to find at best without buying it equipped.

Is there any other off-the-shelf kits out there to get a FEL, belly mower or front snowblower hooked up? Maybe an electric pto clutch, or even a hydraulic setup?
Thank you

You can run a FEL off the onboard hydraulic pump.
MMM is not a great option on a B7100DT, it's a little better option on a HST.
You could look at a three point finish mower.
Unless you can find a intact front drive, you will have to make it yourself and that's not an easy task on that model.

Ok thx, noted about the mower. I'll search the how-tos for the onboard pump. Is that just the two inlet/outlets just below the seat? Do people ever put a 2nd hydraulic pump on the front, or is that is that too taxing? Would love a loader and a snowblower, but probably asking a bit much of the machine. We got it for tilling mostly, but my snow clearing dreaming engaged the minute I put money down lol.

The outlet under the seat can certainly be used -- but -- there's a diverter valve. You can't select that outlet and the 3PH at the same time, and the 3PH control valve must be forward to get anything out of it. A good option if you are just raising and lowering a snowblower (apply the chain on the 3PH to keep your counter-weight up before diverting to the blower lift cylinder). The 3PH control then becomes the snowblower control -- no additional spool valve required and you only need to buy a single acting lift cylinder.

It's doable but not nearly as convenient for use with a FEL though.

The alternative is to tap into the tractor's hydraulics by making a replacement cover for the hydraulic block (located just to the rear of the fuel filter on the right hand side. See this thread for instructions on how to make one). This allows seamless operation of a 3PH and FEL concurrently. For example, when clearing snow with a rear mount blower and FEL preparing soil with a cultivator and FEL, or repairing a gravel drive with land plane/box blade and FEL.

Oh, regarding the front mount hydraulic pump: assuming you mean from the front of the crankshaft, yes it can be done, but the parts from Kubota are long discontinued. And they used a very unusual spline on the front of the crankshaft so making your own would be challenging. If you are referring instead to the forward facing PTO on later models, it would hang way down, require a driveshaft and spin faster than most PTO pumps are designed for.

As for clearing snow, I have both a front mount and a rear mount blower. I prefer the rear in combination with the FEL. But some prefer a front mount in combination with a rear blade. Whatever your preference, the B7100 is more than capable in either configuration.

Thats my group. If you haven't posted in there yet i know there are 2 guys that have front pto for b7100
I've already spoken to one of them in NC, just waiting on the other one, he's quite a bit closer to me. I might just do something different though, really wish there was a kubota wrecker out my way. I found a Case wrecker about 5 hrs from me, and a jd guy too about 7 hrs. NC is about 2 days which is a bit much even for me haha
