Hi everyone, I'm having a trouble with my trusty old B 2710. It's got about 2000 hours on it and it's been a great tractor for me up until now. I'm having a problem with I think the HST or transmission- may be clutch I'm not sure. When it's cold it starts up and operates perfectly. I have good hydraulic pressure-the bucket and PTO are good, everything works fine. hydro fluid recently changed, level is full. But as the tractor warms up after 10-15 minutes of work and the harder it works the quicker this happens: it just simply starts to slow down at the same RPM in any gear. It's most noticeable in high, a little less noticeable in middle, and in low of course it takes it the longest to slow down but it still does the same thing after about 10 minutes of work. It feels like a slipping clutch in an automobile, where the rpm stays constant and you just slow down, but the HSD clutch as I understand doesn't work like a car clutch does. It's getting worse and worse, so I know something needs to be fixed or replaced. Anyone have any ideas that can point me in the right direction? The local Kubota dealer told me bring it in and get it serviced that should fix it. Right. Thanks in advance.

Most likely the mechanical clutch is going out.

Do you have a PTO powered Implement, preferably ground engaging.
You would run that and if it slow or stalls with the tractor slowing or stalling then it's a clutch issue.
