Good day.

Assuming you are shifting on the fly or while rolling, try waiting till the tractor stops moving.

I understand you did not ask for this, and it’s not my machine or anything, but I’d recommend you read the manual sooner than later.

Genuinely good luck and keep the rubber side down.

You have a tractor model in the title but a different one under your profile name.

How old and which model?

Are you 100% stopped when you are trying to change the range?

I have a B2601 and I was stopped with my foot on the brake. I was also at idle. I thought I was doing it right and this is the first time I have had trouble. I was thinking that I may have to make sure the hydraulic was warmer.

I’ve had mine not want to go into the next range when I am stopped, but I’ve not had it grinding the gears. 🤷‍♂️. Does your machine creep when foot not pressing on the HST pedal? That would be my only guess. If it is happening when foot on brake and stopped.

As noted, completely stopped, and if you are having any difficulty changing ranges or engaging/disengaging 4WD - creep backwards for a few inches to relieve any binding.

What’s the best way switch between High, Medium, low without any grinding sounds?

You set the equipment when you made the account.
It's editable in your profile.
I've changed it for you.

Either you figured out how to change your equipment in your account or a moderator made the change for you.

I had figured out how to change it and was going to tell you but longer need to!
