My buddy has a B2410, about 20 years old, and it decided not to start the other day. Battery is fine, turn key, lights on dash come on, turn to ”start” and they go out. Using a remote started wire set, and a jump box, the starter turns the engine over, but it doesn’t fire. No power to the hot wire to the solenoid when the key is activated. I suspect the controller that energizes the solenod and the keys stop solenoid is bad, but he can’t find it, or any part number for it. Any ideas?

According to the WSM, the solenoid is protected by a 5A fuse. I'd double check to make sure the fuse is good, and seated well.
