This tractor is old and well worn but it's all I have. It made some strange scraping noises and locked up. Won't shift from neutral to any gear, rear wheels are also locked up. None of the other control positions have any affect. If I release the clutch it stalls the engine. I'm a good mechanic but no tractor experience. Is there something I can do first to free up the wheels and get it out of the field? I don't even know where to start.
I have a repair manual that I downloaded but it is very confusing and the pictures in it look like they were run through a copy machine about 50 times in a row. Good pictures would help a lot! Any suggestions will be very welcome. getting a different tractor isn't a possibility at this time.
