I recently purchased the shorter filters from Amazon. Do you foresee any issues with using these? While I am aware that they are effective, I assume the longer filters might offer better performance. Your insights would be appreciated. HH160-32093 Engine Oil Filter Long and HH150-32094 Short.

My guess is that the longer one would take more time to go into bypass mode, worse case.

For the sake of a couple bucks, I would probably go with the longer one...I assume a couple bucks...

Have always used OEM filters here...not sure if what you referenced are OEM or aftermarket.

Your asking if a filter that was not designed to work on and engine, will work.
Your asking for trouble!
I would NEVER recommend that you downgrade any part period!

Your B-2910 is a great tractor my B-7800 is the base model. I just wish it had quick connect although. It does save weight. I was a GM master mechaic for 46 year and the Oil filter got smaller and smaller. After 2006 the product took a down turn big time.
