Auxiliary hydraulic remote leak

We keep ours sprayed off I'm guessing that if we didn't they would eventually look like yours because they always loose some oil when you remove the hoses and some when the hoses are connected and in use.

The O-Rings inside the couplers wear and need replacing occasionally. You can see them in the picture just past the little steel balls that lock the coupler in place. They are easily changed using a pick or small flat screwdriver to pop them out. That will keep them from leaking when the hoses are connected. If they leak all the time when hoses aren***8217;t connected then ball and socket in the center back of coupler pictured maybe worn enough so that it doesn***8217;t seat close completely allowing oil to weep out.

That is fugly...lol Where are the connector covers that come with the connectors? If they are gone or lost, go to any farm store (Tractor Supply works) and get slip over covers, they are cheap.
Every push to connect QD fitting will lose some fluid when disconnected. Fact of operation. I never let the connections get that cruddy, always install the covers when not in use.
The big issue with open QD ports is dirt will get in and cause the poppets to not seal properly and the crud gets in your fluid too.
Cover them up...
