It should be ethylene glycol. You can't go by the color. I'm not aware of any magic ingredients, so auto parts, tractor supply, dealer should work.

I just use the reg green BUT I have heard there are certain ones better for diesel motors.

Depends on which one at the parts store.
IIRC, the K recommends a ethylene glycol base phosphated coolant that is free of silicate, nitrites and borate.
Zerex Asian Green ticks those boxes. Rotella ELC does not.

I believe , but haven't confirmed, Motorcraft VC13G can also be used. I know it is a PHOT coolant. Not sure on the nitrites and borate. The addition of phosphate implies an absence of silicate. I had both VC13G and the Zerex Asian on the shelf. I just already knew Zerex met the spec.

Last year I asked the Kubota dealer here, for coolant so I could change it. They were out and I asked what to use. He happened to see my Toyota and said the coolant for it is perfect. I said I have the Toyota SLL Pink pre-mix and he told me that or the Honda (blue) equivalent is perfect. That is what is in it now the past year and no issues at all

Kubota branded antifreeze is a silicate and nitrate free PHOAT long life ethylene glycol coolant which is the formulation used in many modern Asian vehicles.

My L3901 owners manual is not that specific and simply says "long life ethylene glycol" coolant which encompasses just about everything sold today. What it excludes is old fashion "green" Inorganic Acid Technology (IAT) that needs to be changed every 2 years.

Any antifreeze meeting CAT-EC-1 requirements. I like Fleetrite, simplly because I can get it cheap by the case from the local International dealer; but any EC-1 AF will work.
