Adjusting drop speed on LB400 loader

My new-to-me L2350DT came with an LB400. Works fine but the drop speed seems rather fast, unless I'm very careful with the control lever. The lift speed dynamics seem OK. Is there a valve adjustment on the "drop" hydraulic line that can be adjusted? (My Takeuchi 016 excavator conveniently has adjustable valves under the pedals that control boom swing and thumb speeds.)

No adjustment. Excavator controls are waaaaay smoother than the valves on old (and newer) tractor loaders. The valve may also be getting even more worn and sloppy given the age.

Thanks. I couldn't see anything on the (rather fuzzy) parts list. I can live with it as it is but may replace it if it gets worse.

I looked at the parts diagram and that joystick linkage can easily be a problem.
Inspect and lubricate looking for worn or damaged parts.
