Hello Members, I posted a thread about a month ago asking about pto noise on this tractor.I installed the mower deck and it cuts great. My question is when I am cutting and push the clutch in to come to a stop or change gears, I get a very loud clacking noise that continues until the blades come to a stop. Never get the noise when I am cutting, only when the blades are free spinnging while they are coming to a stop.I am trying to find out if this is a normal noise. It really is rather loud, which concerns me. I am thinking this has to do with a over-run clutch situation. Does anyone know if there is some kind of adjustment or test I can do in regard to the pto? This is the first time I have used the mower deck. I have had the tractor for a while and it runs great. But I have only been using the loader. I have never had an implement attached to it. Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks for any help!! Sorry about the long post..........

If it's a rear (three point) mower It's normal, it's the overrunning clutch.
If it's the mid PTO then you have a problem.
