2370 hyd steering cyl. rebuiid

Has anyone rebuilt the bx23 seriers steering cylinder. If so any tips or special tools needed other then snap ring pliers ? A new replacement is $280 at the dealer or rebuild kits online for $100 or so

No special tools needed.

You might or might not have success in rebuilding it.
A lot of cylinders of that era had a problem with the center of the cylinder becoming to large and allowing the seals to blow or just not seal correctly.
