Hello ALLLLLLLL and thanks in advance for any info or insight on the ammount of money that I should expect to pay for a model year 2003 B2410 tractor with just over 1200 hours This machine comes equiped with a LA 352 front end loader, a roto tiller (Kubota Brand), a back blade (woods brand), and a 60 inch Kubota belly mower that is currently in need of work to get going (the belly mower is in need of repair, tractor and all other attachments work as advertised.

I sort of fell into this deal. A short back story; I went to estimate a job for brush pile removal as I am a junk removal specialist, and the homeowner asked if I was interested in his tractor for sale trade , I do the brush pile job that I valued at $1500 and add $4000 cash and I get the tractor and all attachments free and clear.

I am just wondering if this is about the going rate for one of theese machines. Thanks in advance for any advice on the subject.

So at the end of the day you paid $5500 for the package. I would say you You stole the tractor… As long as the tractor itself runs well.

Yes sir $5500 all in with cash and labor swap. I feel like it runs just fine for the little bit of time I was running it on his property. Noweird noises at high r p m or at idle.

I know nothing about that particular machine, (or it's actual condition) and looking online at those models used, it would seem to be a good buy at the $5,500 total
The pictures don't make it look great though, so I would likely offer $1,500 + $3,500 ($5.000 total).

Being elderly also, I get what you’re saying. But also when I went to the supermarket yesterday and saw one white peach for sale at $1.19 each, I remembered that what i think prices should be are not what they really are in today’s world!

I want to say LOL…but I can’t…LOL

If you're planning to keep it and use it, probably a decently fair deal. If you're just going to clean it up and try to move it along, I'd definitely try to barter a little more. He's probably been trying to sell it for 5500-6,000 and not getting any bites with the hours on it.

I consider 1,200 hours as low hours

If everything is in good condition +

Tractor and Loader $7,500
Tiller $1,000
Woods Rear Blade $400
Mid Mt Mower $300
Total $9,200

It all depends on the condition. But if it's been decently well looked after, it's worth almost double what you paid, at least based on what I see around here.

Sounds like a winner to me! One note of caution. It has the same style loader my B7500 had (with the bar that runs over the hood). My practice has always been to run without the loader and frame unless I was using it because it is so easy on and off, plus the tractor is a lot more nimble. Anyway, the dealer who bought it when I got the next Kubota said mine was one of the few that didn't have a crease in the hood from a mishap occurring from a loader frame coming down on it.

And in line with Henro's price comment, I stopped in at Messicks yesterday and picked up a seal for the 3-point hydraulic cylinder for the Ford 1210. It's like a plastic O-ring about 2-1/2" in diameter. It was $59.48 plus 6% tax. With a couple other smaller (and cheaper) parts there wasn't much left from a $100 bill. I told the guy at the counter I understand that a part like that (cheap to manufacture but proprietary) costs so much due to the Walmart Pricing Policy. If they stocked these parts at Walmart they'd be a lot cheaper.

Oh, I was going to stop for a white peach on the way home, but didn't think I could afford it:)

PS: The dollar was for scale (and probably also represents 10X the manufacturing cost)

UPDATE Looks like that seal was really needed. Swap was simple and didn't take long. The old seal wasn't difficult to remove from the piston:)
