2002 L48TLB won't start

Ran for 1 hour, turned off for 2hours, would not restart. Battery and light to right glowed bright, heard rapid clicking then nothing. tried again after several hours, again 2 lights glowed, clicking then nothing. Battery full charge, 12.4V.
Any info appreciated.

12.4 is considered a bit low, especially since it ran for a hour not long before. After a few days of sitting 12.6 is acceptable. How old is your battery?

What happens if you try these two things?

1) attach known good battery wi good jumper cables directly to the starter. Red to correct post of starter and black to a starter mounting bolt

2) jumping starter by shorting the positive starter post to the solenoid spade terminal. Be careful when doing this!

Accidentally get the pto lever pushed?

Seat switch or other "no start" switch.

The HST has to be in neutral to start. Most times spring returns to neutral. Sometimes peddle needs lubrication. Once had woody stem that lodged in the linkage underneath. Then there is the neutral switch. Had them loosen and move out of position. Short internally and blow 5amp fuse will prevent starting.
