My L3710 has started leaking oil from right behind the left front wheel. I have determined that my issue is seal # 060 (34070-13370) in the attached picture. I watched a U-Tube video on how to change the seal and the guy had a terrible time removing the old seal. He ended up drilling part way through the seal in 4 spots and using needle nose plyers to pry it up. I was wondering if there is a special trick to getting the old oil seal removed?
He also changed the housing O ring # 120 (31353-44130) which I assume is a good idea?
And he changed both bearings # 020 and # 050 as they were bad. I'm wondering if I should change the bearings as well while I have everything apart? My tractor is just about to turn 3,000 hours.
Thanks for any help with these questions.

I have no clue why someone would find that a hard seal to replace.
You just pop it out with a chisel.
You can even hit it on the back side and pop it out.
