1992 G1900 start brake saftey switch

So the start brake safety switch on the old G1900 is acting up again. It only gets used for snow and leaf removal...they seem to go bad setting there doing nothing. 450 hrs 3rd switch. So it has to be a N/O switch that closes when the brake is engaged. Thinking about bypassing it . Any advice??? fron OTT

Advice? Not really.

Buy an inexpensive starter bypass switch like this one from advance auto parts. Easy to wire in.

It's what I use. Same problem, happens every winter.
