2002 Kubota L3710 GST. Just changed trans hydraulic fluid.
The tractor will not move unless you press hard on the clutch. So if you select a low range gear, put in forward it will not move as it should (unless you press hard on clutch).
If you select a higher range gear you can hear spinning noise and it will slip / not move.
The hydraulics work (bucket functions, 3pt lifts properly, pto works).
The clutch has never been adjusted. I'm wanting to know if this is a sure fire description of a bad clutch or something else. I am mechanically inclined however no real tractor repair other than bringing an old ford 8n back to life. Please help with any tips pointers or advice. I am trying to decide do I take this thing to kubota and let them run wild or do I get busy with a couple of buddies and tear into this thing. I would need to buy a good repair service manual (the real one is 300.00).
Kubota gives me a rough estimate of around 4000.00 to replace clutch if thats what it is. Thank you.

hmm, not to sure why that works(backwards of course...)
curious, CDN $ for clutch( 2 pcs) is over $1,000 ! get a new throwout bearing ($100 ?) while it's split.
Don't know the tractor but 'generally' speaking, you remove anything connected 'front to back',, support both halves, then 'split' it, roll back an end, R/R clutch, reassemble.....
Plan on a long day, unless you do the 'prep' work before 'muscle' comes over.

Do NOT use hollow 'cinder' blocks to support the tractor !!!! Use SOLID Wood
If possible, work under an Ibeam, with 2 chains hoists on trolleys as 'alignment' is kinda critical....
