AZLE TX,
I bought one of these to groom my driveway and home access road. It came complete with 4 scarifiers.

Any tricks to using it?

Things need to dry out a bit before I put it to work. I have high expectations for leveling out ruts and high spots.

This came up a while back.

I have a box blade. Never used a scraper.

The "trick" with a box blade is the adjustment of the length of the top link. Short digs and longer smooths while pulling it.

If my memory serves, the same applies to a grader scraper.

Also, your right side link will have a length adjustment to allow the scraper to have some "tilt" to crown a drive.

AZLE TX,
I saw your comments in the implements forum.

I appreciate the input. I've never had much success with a conventional box blade. Maybe I just didn't know how to use it properly.

I have the same GS for my B3200. There's really not much to using it, except to set the scarfiers shallow and then eventually work with them deeper. But you probably already knew that. I have a 700 ft private gravel road and it's easier to work gravel when it's wet. Be aware of anything buried under your path like conduit, water lines, tree roots and partially exposed boulders. None of them play nice with the tines. The type of graded material will dictate the speed.

Are you happy with the 60" width, or after having used it, would you have gone with the 72"? I have a L2501 and am debating between the 60 vs. 72.
