Hello-

I am wanting to purchase some OEM Kubota rear wheel weights for my L3240 with 420/70-24 wheels/tires. I have looked through some of the previous post on rear wheel weights but have not been able to nail down my answer. I have posted a picture of my wheel and a picture of Kubota weights that I found on the net. Does anyone know if this is the style of weights that I need for my tractor? Do you have a part # for this style that I can take to the local dealer? I looked on the parts breakdown on the computer for my model but did not see anything relating to wheel weights. Thanks for any information.

I had these OEM mounted by my dealer on my L5740 after the wrong set was ordered, so I don't know the pn or price as he ate th cost difference and mounting cost.

Do you have ballast in your tires now?

If not, liquid ballast would add approx. #350 per tire - that is using water only, more per if rim-guard or a little less if using WWF.

Yes my tires have ballast, I just found I needed more weight in the hills and while using the FEL. I always have a 1100 pound piece of equipment on the 3PH as well.

Thank you for posting the picture of your weights. Those are the exact style that I am looking for now that I know they will fit my wheels. Can anyone offer any information on what the OEM part # is for this style of weight? Any idea on what they weigh each? Thanks for any information.

Mine weigh 102 pounds each and I got a good deal on shipping by waiting for their regularly scheduled bulk delivery.

I only got two sets, but the wheel will accommodate three.

I would call a dealer and make sure they will fit.
I'm sceptical because the mounting bolt hole pattern is different, your rims are 5 bolt hole and the weights are 4.

Thank you everyone for your information and downloads. I stopped by my local dealer and they confirmed that part # L8066a is what would be used on my L3240. The 102 lb weights will not work on my tractor due to the bolt pattern on the center disc. Thanks again

If you need more weight due to tire spin, you might try lowering your air pressure. Mine calls for 20 PSI, but I run about 16 and it has made a significant improvement.
