First I want to start off saying this thing was a mess.... I got it for 400 bucks...it was in a flood, steering rod was broke so they couldn't drive it out the flood... I got it home drained all the fluids, got it running miraculously. Engine smokes a little after doing a bit of research it's easier just to swap it out than deal with a machine shop that's going to charge an arm and a leg so after new seat, new tires, pto seal, 800 dollers so 400+800

Next the d650 that's in there, is shot..., machine shops charge an arm and a leg, they quote you a price and when you go pick it up its double so I've read you can swap a d650 , d750 , d850 d950 with very little hassle, also you could swap a 4 cylinder v1100 or v1200, but it will require some Hood modifications.. also you when you looking for engine the most important hydraulic pump configuration, the one on the b6100e is keyed... For I have to find a d650 to d950 that's keyed fuel injector camshaft

I went on a hunt for an mega hunt for an engine my list consisted of d650 , d750 d850 , d950 , v1100 , v1200 I looked on proxibid, govdeals , IronPlanet, our local state auction I found engine on proxibid, it was an Light Tower with a d850 in it that was tore up, would have went to look at it all kind of stuff was missing injection pump Muffler, then like 3 weeks later this popped up up at state auction, it started off at 10 dollers I went against guy a that needed the starter off of it and he ran it up to $175 I told Auctioneer 200 he said going going sold so I walked away with it for two hundred bucks it's a cushman truckster 1995 with a d950 it has 1100 hours motor runs flawlessly transmission will not shift, all tires were flat, so I took my Husqvarna cut-off saw with a Diablo blade to town... Add more pictures to come next

I went to Home Depot and got all the radiator piping 3/4 to one inch stuff was cheap as hell.... I'm waiting to get a thermostat cover from Kubota that goes straight up instead of a angle.. also I used all the alternator brackets off the cushman turf truckster the alternator part number is 7127-3 it was like $33 dollers from autozone

ASTER, I like the way you think! There is an old saying, "More than one way to skin a cat." You find the problem, look at possible solutions, choose one, and get to work.

There are folks who just can't think like that, much less do the actual work. They are the ones who tell you you're crazy, it won't work, hope you enjoy it because it has to be a labor of love...'cause it won't work.....

Good for you. Keep us posted as you proceed.

On mine when I did the swap I found it easier to use copper fittings and renecked the top and bottom of the radiator to be the smaller sizes and to face the right directions.

You should be real happy with the performance when you get it done! ;)

I'm rebuilding a D850 right now, no machine work needed, so it was within budget. :D

Yeah it was not bad swap..... Trying to get the right fuel mixture with a fuel adjustment screw, I had to use the injection pump off the d650

Wolfman you think it's possible to swap v1200 into a b7200e model

Issues you would run into are the drive shaft length, steering linkage length, Hydraulic line lengths, filter locations and oil pan and of course the obvious issue of stretching the frame, I think the rest might line up fine.
