I see lots of posts about fuel treatments and algae in the tank. I have a new BX23, and live in the northeast. Do I need to be worried about using fuel treatments or any additives?

I’m Northeast also and use the appropriate Power Service year-round....white bottle in winter and gray in summer.
I also just started using a biocide this year.
Some guys also recommend Stanadyne or others.
I would also get diesel at a place that sells a lot.
Diesel was gelled at the fuel station’s pump during a cold snap couple years ago...certainly supported the need for an additive for me, and the station serves the company’s own vehicles, town snowplows and school buses.

I'd say if you plan on using your tractor infrequently I'd add a biocide to the fuel, just in case. Far as additives go there are a bunch. Wolfman uses Stanadyne, I use power Service. Your choice entirely all are good.
