Rookie to 3rd function operations here. Got a grapple claw on my loader and MX5800 tractor. I can’t close/open the claw and tilt at the same time. Is this normal, or does it depend on the 3rd function valve capabilities?
That is normal, and it is due to the 3rd function valve being plumbed in line with the power beyond. That's really the only way to plumb it and everything else work. Similar to a backhoe; it goes in line too and if you try to use the BH with loader, one or the other is going to take priority and the other stay limp until the other lever is released.
