There are two plugs on the inside of the axle hubs. And should be two on the bottom of the transmission. One located directly under the shift levers. The other should be under the seat.

There is also a serviceable strainer screen for the transmission. Cap should be on the clutch side of the transmission down near where the high low shifting lever enters the side of the transmission. Should have two screws that hold the cap onto the side of the transmission. :)

If you pm me your email, I can send you the owners manual for the l175.

And use universal tractor fluid. Ignore the 80/90 gear oil in manual.

Chances are if the tractor hasn't been repainted the drain plugs should still be painted red. Most of the B and L series tractors I remember about that ones age had the red plugs in them from the factory. I think Darren is correct, 4 sounds like the right number. I think I remember the L series had a plug near the clutch pedal that is removed to check for the proper fill level that was pained red as well. Most of the time the paint would get partially worn off of that one due to the usage of the tractor. Good luck and don't forget to clean the screen Darren mentioned and the vent tube under the seat.

What utf fluid do you recommend? And is there any difference between them? Such as better protection there is a universal trans-hydraulic fluids or a universal tractor hydraulic fluid which do I need?

So im looking for the drain points, I got the screen draining right now, so where or how do these bolts look like specifically the axle ones?

I assume one would be the big bolt directly under the shifter but I dont know where the rest would be.

Also I dont see anything under the seat either.

Update, I did drain whatever fluid was in it through that big bolt under the shifter, so now Im trying to find the other areas so that they can also drain what is left inside as well, so please let me know

Yep one per axle
Sweet it worked... are there any other draining bolts besides the one under the shifter and these on each axle? I have images that show another bolt near the axle ones but I dont seem to find that either...
Added a pic of where the big bolt is on the axles.

Just a quick update I put in the 5 gallon walmart supertech fluid they have thats trans/hyd fluid in it after I drained it. I was wondering how long this fluid would last?
