When I bought my B2650hsdc I saved the forks from the small skid steer that I sold as I no longer needed it. I bought a blank quick attach plate from Amazon and welded on all the necessary pieces to mount the forks. I really like the results, except I think I could have used the 3/8"plate instead of the 1/2" that I went with. Although I was able to lift all but one log on to my sawmill. It was a red pine that was 20" in diameter, and 12' long. Based on an online calculator, that log should weigh around 1039 pounds. I'm sure the forks weight around 300 pounds. So I understand why I couldn't lift it. Anyway, here's a picture of of the completed project.
