I have a BX2350 that wouldn't turn off with the key. My first out of this issue turned out to be a blown 15A Solenoid fuse. Several months later the problem happened again. This time it turned out to be a bad solenoid. I decided to remove the solenoid and have a closer look. It turned out that the small wire connecting the inside of the solenoid to the outer terminal (ground) was broken (see attached picture). The wire is a solid piece of magnet wire and I presume cracked and separated over the years of vibration. The fix was simple. Just replace the broken section of wire. I used 18ga stranded wire which should be more flexible than the solid wire.
Hope this helps others who have had similar shut down issues. I suppose these fuel shutoff solenoids are used on many Kubota tractors - especially the BX Series.
Cheers!
