Have a new (5 hours) BX2680 that is leaking hydraulic fluid. Its coming down on the front side of the transmission, right side of cooling fins above mid PTO output shaft. The oil drops on the ground just to the rear of the mower deck. I read somewhere it may be coming from a breather tube for the transmission. Where is the breather tube in relation to this area? Any other ideas? I'm hoping its something simple because I don't want the transmission pulled on a brand new tractor.
My old 2350 never leaked a drop for 10 years, then one day started leaking. Dealer pulled transmission and it was never the same after that. One problem after another, wheel seals, output seals, etc. Thanks,

Might try the illustrated parts diagrams to find the breather.
Does it leak all the time, or just when running?
Do you notice any foaming of the hydraulic fluid when running?
Of course at just 5 hours, it really ought to be for the dealer to figure out..... that’s a little more concerning than a simple fix we would all take care of ourselves.
Good luck!
