Howdy,

Plowing snow the other day. Lost steering control. My pitman shaft fell out due to worn plate shaft. Ordered a new shaft with bushings and seals. Tried to install the shaft but the upper and lower pitman arm holes do not align. I have pulled the radiator in order to expose the arms. Anyone have any guess as to why the arms do not align? I will know more tomorrow.

What is the trick to getting the tie rod ends out?

1998 L4200D Ser# 55798. I have resolved the pitman shaft issue. The upper pitman arm hole was burred. Having a time removing the tie rod ends so I can replace bushings and seals in the assembly arm, pitman. Do I need to remove the clips first? Thanks for any reply.
