I am planning to sell the tractor, so I want it to work correctly. Unfortunately, the tach is expensive.

I have a L2350. The tachometer will show correct rpm until about 2000, then starts acting erratically and jumps up to about 3000 rpm. I can down power the tractor and the tach will eventually calm down. Any help would be appreciated. BTW I have replaced the tach cable.
