    G6200 keys: are they universal?

Great, thanks! The switch without the key is half the price so that'll save some money.

    G6200 keys: are they universal?

I'm 99% sure I need to replace the ignition switch in my G6200. I've noticed that the switch can be bought either with a new key or without. Are the keys for these tractors universal (will my old key work with the new switch), or do I need to order the switch with a new key? Part numbers for...

    G4200H Fuel problem

I had the same problem a couple weeks ago on my G6200. Turned out to be a loose wire in the dash. Does yours have an indicator light that turns on when you turn the key to the "ON" position? Mine had stopped lighting up and apparently the same wire that runs to that also runs to the fuel...

    D640 engine manual?

Does anybody have a PDF copy of the D640 engine manual and if so would you be willing to share it? Didn't see one on Kubotabooks.com so I thought I'd check here before hitting up ebay or the dealer.

G6200 won't start, not getting fuel

I figured out the problem. There is a loose wire in the dash. Once I found it I turned the key to the on position, the dash light came on (it had stopped coming on a few days ago), and the fuel pump started clicking. Bled the lines, bled the injector pump, bled the injector, and it started...

G6200 won't start, not getting fuel

I pulled the lines after the filter by the tank and fuel poured out and continued to pour out, so I'm guessing everything up to the first filter is clear. Also pulled the line off from the filter to the pump and ran a piece of trimmer line through it and that seemed clear as well. Then I...

G6200 won't start, not getting fuel

Went back out today and tried the bleeding process again, but there is zero fuel delivery. No fuel coming out of the bleeder screws, no fuel coming out of the injectors, nothing. I pulled fuel lines and turned the key to the on position, and no fuel came out. Turned the engine over with the...

G6200 won't start, not getting fuel

Here's what I did: -Opened the bleeder screws on the sediment filter, turned the key to the on position, nothing happened. -Started it with the bleeder screws open to see if anything would happen, it ran for about 15 seconds, then shut off again. Closed bleeder screws. -Opened the injectors...

G6200 won't start, not getting fuel

I fired up my G6200 today and went out to mow, forgetting that I had closed the fuel line at the sediment filter and didn't open it back up, so it ran out of fuel and shut off. I opened it up and tried starting it again, but all it would do is turn on for a second or two and shut right back...

    G6200 HST hydro/rear end issue?

It looks like that set screw is covered so I have no way to check it. No big deal. I changed the oil and filter, changed the hydro unit filter, greased everything, and fired it up. Started mowing and it shut off. Forgot I had the fuel turned off at the fuel filter. After that it would start...

    G6200 HST hydro/rear end issue?

I'll check that set screw. The lift works perfectly, so I guess the hydro pump isn't the issue. Maybe something in the rear end? Or is that part of the hydro? I don't know much about hydrostatic transmissions. On another forum I was told that it's normal for a hydrostatic tractor to free...

    G6200 HST hydro/rear end issue?

It doesn't roll easily when the tractor isn't running, and when it does roll the rear end makes a sort of rhythmic clicking sound (for lack of a better description). When I was driving it home in the back of my truck I didn't tie it down because the seller literally lived down the street from...

    G6200 HST hydro/rear end issue?

Yep, one of the first things I did was print of the Operator's Manual and put it in the binder with the Work Shop Manual that came with the tractor. There is some great information in those books!

    Looking at a G6200 this evening. Info/opinions?

Well I feel a LITTLE better hearing that considering it might have a bad hydrostatic unit lol. If the hydro is bad, then I guess I just have a donor diesel engine for something else.

    G6200 HST hydro/rear end issue?

Profnohair: I looked on the Kubotabooks site but didn't see the Eaton manual. Maybe I'm just not seeing it? Otherwise if you have it in digital form already I can give you my email address if you'd want to email it to me, I'd be very grateful! :) Wolfman: I know the parking brake isn't on...

    It's an HST (hydrostatic).

    G6200 HST hydro/rear end issue?

So I just bought a G6200 HST hydrostatic with 1700 hours and it runs really well. When I tested it out it moved forward and backward perfectly fine, but this was on flat ground. It also crawled up my loading ramps into the back of my 3/4 ton truck without any issue whatsoever, and it was a...

    Looking at a G6200 this evening. Info/opinions?

Later this evening I will be checking out this G6200: http://appleton.craigslist.org/grd/4535633924.html It looks pretty clean but I don't know a whole lot about them. I don't know if it has the optional rear PTO setup, but I'm guessing not, which is a bummer since I'd like to run a tiller on...
