I brought this FS-850 tiller not knowing the shaft pinion was bent! I can't find the pinion shaft so am going to part it out before I send it to salvage dump. Maybe someone needs parts from this machine......it works fine! Let me know if you need parts for this machine!

Has anyone had any experience using a king Kutter 48" TG-48 Y with the B-7100 HST. I purchased an old Kubota FS 850 that has a bent Pinion Shaft which I thought could be replaced.....tried to order it and it is discontinued. Any suggestions.....I see a bunch of what I assume are chinese...

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the FS 850 tiller and the FL 850 tiller. I need to order some parts and am curious if the FL 850 gears/ shafts are the same as the FS-850? I downloaded the parts list for the FL from Kubota Books but the site did not list the FS Thanks

thanks for the advise....I got it clean but I will check it further. I got the seals from kabota but the old mechanic said that in order to get the cover off the charge pump I have to separate the hst from the engine. If this is true it is too much for me to tackle and would probably cost more...

Here in Riverside, those car washes won't let you clean engines, etc. I'll figure another way......Is that slot...the section up against the case normal? Also, where is the o ring you are referring to? At the seam where the cover is? And does that cover unbolt and move out enough to slide the...

Ok: here are a couple of pictures.....#2 is the bottom looking at the leak...you can see it dripping.....the pix is not too good but I can't seem to get a good shot. you will see a clean spot up against the housing......and can somewhat see the groove that is there.........the leak is coming...

Thanks Wolfman, after further investigation, I think I have a more serious problem....after scraping all the debris off that whole box, I crawled under the tractor and turned it on and found that I think someone,,,,the previous owner, got something caught between the front wheel drive shaft and...

I have been dealing with what I thought was a Hydraulic leak. But in fact, after completely pressure washing the tractor, I found that the leak appears to be with the Input shaft. How difficult is that to reseal? Does the trans have to be removed? Any input would be helpful Thanks Ed

Its hard to say,but after cleaning it off the previous owner tried to tighten it down and It appears to be cracked.....I t looks like it unbolts (4). How do I remove shaft. I don't have a book yet
