PM, I take it you did not change the hydro fluid? I seem to remember a few that posted they changed all fluids at the 50 Hr mark.

    L3800HST First service

I am very interested in using the amsoil hydro fluid but this is the one service area I am most concerned about using another other fluid than what the factory reccomends. Are there any L3200/L3800 owners that have shitched to amsoil, and how many hours have you run it. I have used amsoil...

    Remote water pump

Anyone know how many amps are available on an L3800 for adding electrical accessories? The tractor has a 40 Amp alternator but I doubt all 40 amps can be counted on for add-ons. Thanks

    Remote water pump

FYI PDF on the pump states a rating power of 200 watts so 200/12 would put it at about 16.7 amps.

    Remote water pump

Thanks for taking the time to explain this fully. The well is an old hand dug farm well that is about 20-25' deep. I would only be using the pump to pull out water for the garden when really needed. I know the alternator on the L3800 is a 40 amp unit and from what I understand, the pump...

    Remote water pump

I am looking to purchase a submersible water pump that I can run remotely from my L3800. I will use this to pump water from an old well into my sprayer or 60 gallon holding tank and pump the water off the top of my pool cover. I will not buy a cheap china pump and the smallest quality American...

I am going to purchase a 60" rear mount for my L3800. Is there any way to increase the pto speed for mowing? I have plenty of hp for the task but I hate to run the tractor almost wot for hours on end while mowing. Can I change the gear box on the deck? Does anyone mow at less than 540 and...

    4 Vs. 3 Cylinder Diesel

Hello group, I am in the market for a B series tractor and noticed the 2920 has a 3 cylinder and the 3200 has a 4. I know the 3's reputation for quality, but I wanted to ask the group their opinion on the pro/con of the 4 cylinder. Thanks in advance, Steven
