    L4150 dt

8.3-20...yep. But first I want to measure the RC of the 13.6-28. But yes, I need something about 105 RC for the front. Thanks!

NIW....where is this 17 tooth gear they talk about?

    L4150 dt

The previous owner installed them. When I picked it up to work on, I was  The rears were 21.5L x 16.1 Firestone turfs. It was a bad combo....I'll get it straightened out. I scored a used pair 13.6x28 R1's mounted, with the centers from Tucker Tire. Now on the prowl for a suitable...

    L4150 dt

In case anybody finds this in the search. I received this info from Kubota. <<The front/rear gear ratio for the L4150DT is 1.497 for the standard drive train. If the drive train has the optional 17 tooth gear, the front/rear gear ratio is 1.585. He will want to select a tire size that will...

    L4150 dt

I need to source some 8"x20" rims for the front of a 1985 L4150DT. The ones current installed are 8x15 and have a ribbed tire on them. I've contacted Wold in Iowa. They have a mass produced 8x20 that has 5 3/4" backspacing for $112/ea....but I'm not sure if that is the correct backspacing for...

B7100 Overhauled now trying to seize up

If need be, I can provide you a picture of a Kubota F2302 in which the injection lines are not the same length. Why would differing lengths affect timing?

    Front/Rear rolling ratio L4150DT

The unit currently has some very mismatched tires on it. The rear has 21.5Lx16.1 Firestone Turfs. The fronts are 11Lx15. According to the WSM, the standard tires were 9.5-20 front and 14.9-28 rears. Optional were 8.3-20 front and 13.6-28 rear. Various mfgs have the rear RC around 158 and the...

    Front/Rear rolling ratio L4150DT

Does anybody know the RC ratio for a 1985 L4150DT. From working the number of various tire mfg websites, and using the standard (and optional) tire sizes. I think it must be between 1.400 and 1.450. But if others have the number I'd appreciate it! Thanks

Measuring fuel pump pressure on the BX tractor.

There is the possibility that a rubber fuel line has delaminated internally, causing a restriction.

    Spring location, speed control assy

Thanks...Somebody has been in this thing previously to me. It didn't "look" correct to my eye. The start spring is wrong as well.

    Spring location, speed control assy

I'm working on a L4150, have the WSM, but that doesn't really show the assembly. Please look at the picture and let me know if the spring is correct, or it should be in the hole on the arm....and if it should have some tension on it. You can vaguely see the tail of the spring in the 10-11...

    Injection pump question

That could be part of the problem. The previous owner did some "enhancements" to the fuel system. Removed the factory filter and replaced it with a spin on close to the tank. thanks!

    Injection pump question

All, I'm working on 1985 L4150.....unknown hours. Ran poorly, so that why I'm working on it. It's kinda a big job to do a compression test on it, but I did. It was a cold test though. I didn't have any cylinder under 380 nothing over 400. I pulled the injectors and pump, sent them to a service...

    L4150 Seat mechanism

Thanks...that's what my WSM shows as well, but the tractor I'm working on has a different seat. A separate seat and lower back support on a dampened mechanism, which doesn't provide enough legroom for the operator. Looking to change it, or build something.

Could someone post a picture of the operators seat, and mount, of a L4150? Thanks
